A Year of Potatoes

2008 has been declared the International Year of the Potato by the United Nations, due to the humble tuber’s major role in providing nutrition to the world’s growing population, particularly in developing countries.
Potatoes are also delicious and so versatile. They provide excellent nutrition and are cheap! This makes them the perfect food for the poor and hungry, for example, uni students. Potatoeight will have new potato recipes ALL THE TIME throughout the course of the year.
